Time management is not a superficial skill, it’s an attitude. We should always plan our time. “Failing to plan is planning to fail” , an old saying goes. Time is money & opportunity. We’ll never find time for anything, we must make it as said by Charles Buxton.

The various killers of time management to be avoided are:

  • tasks taking longer time than scheduled time
  • improper closures
  • meetings & appointments running over the limit
  • meetings & appointments cancelled due to ‘no show’
  • ineffective multi-tasking
  • procrastination
  • poor attitude of ‘they can wait’
  • being ultra-perfectionists and embellishing reports & mails
  • biting off more than what can be chewed
